Date Night

We very rarely have a babysitter for the girls which means our date nights usually consist of Netflix/Redbox and ice cream.  So it always feels extra fancy when Steve and I actually get to leave our  house like we did last Friday night!  One of Steve's mentors invited us to his 50th birthday celebration here.

He is a big supporter and board member at STL Public Radio.  It was lots of fun at a really cool building downtown.  We even got a tour of the building, studio, and met one of the evening on-air personalities while he was live on the air.  So funny to put a face with someone you've only heard their voice.  It was a very unique (and chic) date night!  We should have taken a selfie :(

    I'll bet the girls had lots of questions! Glad you could spend some on the town.
