I have been loving this spring! We've had our cool rainy days, heat and humidity (already), but lots of gorgeous sun-shiney days to enjoy the green outdoors and our beautiful neighborhood. I think the possibility of a (big) move has made me better appreciate where we live now.
I drive down the street and love the big green trees making a canopy over the streets and the adorable old brick houses full of character. We love our neighborhood and all of the activities and places to go so close by. It's hard not to love, we live just blocks from the Delmar Loop which was rated one of the ten greatest streets in America!
We've been celebrating birthdays of some great friends, having fun in our fenced green backyard, enjoying friends at end-of-the-year preschool celebrations, playing with neighbors (kitties!), and visiting some of our favorite ice cream shops!
Happy Birthday Vera and Lily!
Happy Birthday Harper!
So, after I reread this post, I realized that it paints a really quaint picture. The reality is those sweet moments have been sprinkled among some very stressful days too. Thank you for all the prayers about Steve's job search and a possible move. We are still waiting. Yup, fun times! We are simultaneously planning to stay put for while AND planning a big move in the near future. We will go into more details when we have a clearer picture, but you can imagine the craziness that all of this entails.
Thanks for the beautiful post. Life sure can be beautiful and complicated. Prayers go your way and lots of love too!
