I think I mentioned before that we didn't schedule much this summer. Both girls are taking swim lessons once a week and I'll probably sign Ruby up for a two week camp at her preschool in July. Other than that we're doing lots of playing and learning around home and our neighborhood, and taking advantage of some of the many free places and activities in St. Louis this summer.
Babaloo came to Ruby's preschool Ice Cream Social again this spring but got rained out halfway through his concert. Luckily we discovered he was putting on a free summer concert at the History Museum so we invited our friend Evie (and her mom, Allie). It was some serious silly fun!
Park playdates are the best! (Tess and Kaitlyn)
The bubbler at "our park" is so much fun (and totally retro)!
Ruby likes to do "special" projects with me when Ada is napping. This typically means I've printed some silly thing off the internet to work on. This one was a Frozen graph. She eats that stuff up!
Ada's been riding her trike a bit around the patio, but really figured out how to peddle last week. This makes her seem incredibly big to me! Cue the sniffles. She can get pretty far in a matter of seconds (reminder to keep the gate locked!) but it's pretty tiring peddling that thing up the hill to the park!

We met Amelija, Julija and Kristen at Purina Farms the other day. We'd never been before and it was a bit of a drive. Ruby told me we were going out to the country so we had to drive until we didn't see lots of houses and buildings anymore. It was the most perfect of perfect days; sunny, 75 degrees, and a slight breeze. The girls had a blast petting all the animals, watching the dog show, and just running around together. Ruby and Amelija always have so much fun together, and Ada was always just a couple steps behind! Julija is such a little animal lover.
Ready for the dog show!
Jumping in the pool was our favorite part!
Do other cities have so many cool, free things like this to do?
Life's simple pleasures are the best and so are you two cuties!
