The birthday celebrations continue! Ada was excited to see her froggy balloon when she woke up Friday morning.
Bear Bear likes frogs lately and will probably be one for Halloween (I made her a few different dress up outfits so we'll see).
She quickly figured out it was her special day and kept saying, "Ada's" and "me"! As soon as Ruby got up we opened presents. She had a helper, but didn't really mind and her reactions were awsome! In true Ada fashion she LOVED everything!
After breakfast (with sprinkles) and getting dressed we headed to the Transportation Museum. We've never been there, but heard great things and, thought it would be a good day to check it out because Ada is into trains and trucks lately too. (Ruby got her a garbage truck because she says Ada's going to be a garbage man when she grows up!) We got a good deal on a Groupon and Steve was able to take the morning off, but when we got there we were told the trains weren't running. Boo! Instead of wasting our Groupon we decided to wait for another day, so we stopped at the nearby mall. Certainly not as exciting, but the girls were happy as can be climbing in the play area and riding the rides. I know, the mall?! I'm pretty sure the grown-ups were the only ones disappointed!
Our 2 year old sang "Happy Birthday" along with us and almost blew out her own candles!
We ate (aka: licked the icing off) froggy cupcakes.
She knows how old she is and will say "Two!" will holding her hand up towards you, she can't quite make a 2 with her fingers yet!
Sweet Ada Bear, we can't believe you are already two but couldn't imagine life without you. You make us laugh like it's your job and your snuggles make us melt. Happy Birthday Bear!
Aww, she's the happiest little girl. Love how Ruby always says, it's just what we needed!
