Ada would have hugged Pooh all day!
After our long day, we were able to have a slower morning for Day 4. We had brunch reservations at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian Resort. The girls and I each had Mary Poppins shirts for the day. We took a Lyft over and walked around the grounds a bit. Brunch was yummy and we met Mary Poppins, Alice and the Mad Hatter (such a funny character), and Pooh and Piglet. We took a bus over to Hollywood Studies after brunch.
Practically perfect in every way
Girls loved the Mad Hatter's jokes
Alice taught girls how to hold a teacup
Piglet is the wrong color pink, no?
We met Olaf first thing. No signatures but he gave warm hugs! Next we watched the Beauty and the Beast musical and went under the sea (and got rained on) in the Little Mermaid Show. We had fun in Toy Story Land and you can see Steve's shirt of the day was The Claw! We had a Fast Pass for Slinky Dog Dash, so we had to wait in line for Toy Story Mania (you can only get a FP for one). It was one of the longer lines we waited in, but so worth it. I think all of us would put it in our top 5 rides all week. The ride puts you inside of an arcade game that you get to play. We would have done that one again for sure had the lines been a bit shorter. After coming out we ran into the Green Army Men and Ruby got picked to train with them! Slinky Dog was a great roller coaster and well worth the FP. We saw Woody, Jessie, and Buzz, but the girls didn't have any interest to wait in line for them. We realized that Ruby and Ada didn't know much about the Toy Story movies and had probably only seen one of them before our trip.
Hollywood Boulevard was HOT
Disney-themed Would You Rather cards while we waited in lines
Beauty and the Beast is always a fun musical
Toy Story Land was so much fun
Ready for Toy Story Mania one of our favorite rides
Ruby got to train with the Green Army Men
It was another hot day, so we got another ice cream treats, Incredibles-themed icees, some of our favs! We joined in the dance party with Mr Incredible, ElastaGirl, and Frozone. The last thing we did at Hollywood Studios was the Frozen Sing-a-Long. This was another one of my favorite things we did. It was a funny show where we got to sing along with Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and Kristof and ended with us getting snowed on. As you can see, it was magical!
Ada was here for the snacks
Yum!

We headed back to our resort for dinner and a quick evening swim. It doesn't seem like we did quite as much this day, but it was nice to have a slower, shorter day, and I'm pretty sure we did everything we wanted to at HS. We did skip Rock-n-Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror. Ada and I had little interest in those, and none of us were excited enough to want to stand in line or skip any of the other attractions that day.
We ran into another family from the girls' school at Frozen, which was crazy. I talked to the mom back in Waco and confirmed that we really did "do it" right. She said they had a fun trip, but didn't feel like it was magical. Our trip definitely felt magical, even Steve would agree. I attribute it to several things; using a Disney agent, staying on property, getting the meal plan, having everything paid for up front, going during low-crowd times, and low expectations.
