Day 5: EPCOT

Epcot- another beautiful sunny day!

Day 5 was Sunday and we had another character breakfast scheduled that day.  We took a Lyft over to  Trattoria al Forno at Disney's Boardwalk.  This one was fun in that the princes were also there with the princesses; Arial and Prince Eric and Rapunzel and (dreamy) Flynn Rider!  Ruby wore her Rapunzel dress (she already had) and Ada got an Anna dress for the day.

From the boardwalk it was a quick boat ride over to Epcot where the Flower and Garden Festival was happening.  We started out just enjoying the flower sculptures and then went straight to China when the world showcase opened to be one of the first in line to meet Mulan.  We then met Elsa and Anna (I think this was the thing Ada looking forward to most for the whole trip).  We used our FP for the Frozen Ever After ride in Norway.  I remember riding a Viking ship ride in Norway back in 1989 and I'm pretty sure they just converted it into the Frozen ride!  Same viking ships and river.

Next we went to the Future World and rode Spaceship Earth, Nemo and Friends, Crush's Turtle Talk, the Living with the Land, and Soarin'.  Soaring' definitely lives up to it's reputation as one of the best rides.  It was incredible and my description won't do it justice.  Essentially we were strapped into a hang-glider in a giant IMAX auditorium and we sailed all over the world.  With the wind and smells, it felt so real.  I loved it and hated it all at the same time.  We also taste tested all of the sodas from around the world which was one of Ada's favorite parts.  She thought we should fill up one of our water bottles with soda!  We rode the worst ride in Disney this day as well- Figment into Imagination.  Seriously the worst ride.  Disney needs to do some major updating here.

Sodas from around the world.  Try the Beverly!

We spent some time back in the World Showcase and met Belle in France because the girls weren't able to get her autograph when they met her at Enchanted Tales.  This time she was in her blue dress.  We ate lots more ice cream, slushes, and snacks during our hot day at Disney and were ready to get back to our rooms again that night.  We had dinner at the resort again, which was essentially a food court with lots of choices.
