Our girls love the water. We've spent a lot of time this summer playing in our backyard pool, sprinkler, water table, various fountains, and the U City pool. The disgusting heat probably plays a role in the amount of time we've been in the water too. This is the hottest summer we've had in STL. If we don't ever see a three digit temperature again we'd be happy!
Ruby did 'Mommy and Me' swimming lessons for two weeks. She had a blast!
Our lessons were bright and early, but we rarely had to struggle to get her up and ready for the pool.
It was pretty low-key, but she did learn how to kick, scoop with her arms, blow bubbles, and even went "all the way under" a few times. We both enjoyed our one-on-one time!
Her teacher was a man, which she loved, of course!
We scoped out Tilles Park last week because we heard there was a water fountain to play in. The only other time we'd been there was in December to see the Christmas light display. The day we went was
only 90 degrees so we played and stayed for a picnic lunch.
Lots of interactive things at the playground.
It's a very fun park, we will definitely be back.
Fun times! Looks like you guys had a blast. Can't wait to see you all in 10 days. Love you all lots and lots.
