It's been h.o.t. HOT. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's been in the triple digits for days and the forecast for the next week predicts nothing less than 99 degrees. On the bright side, it's been a dry heat. I will take this over hot and humid any day!
We try to get outside early when there's still a little shade.
And, when we're outside, water is a must!
Even wet chalk is more fun!
We spend a lot of time in the AC.
Even Monte thinks it's hot. Or maybe he's just tired of us hanging around the house all day every day!
Trying to keep two little ones busy can be a challenge.
But they're pretty happy!
Although by the time this heat lets up we're probably going to feel a little like caged animals!

I often put Ruby to work. She's getting pretty good at washing dishes!
Sometimes Ruby and Ada will even play together for a few minutes!
And that's when we realize, hot or not, what an amazing life this is!
Come play with us - it's only in the 90's here in Wisconsin! Hopefully it will be a little cooler when you are here. We can hardly wait!
