Food

Ada is finally starting to eat a little bit more.  We've discovered she likes to feed herself much more than being spoon fed.
From Summer 2012
She LOVES puffs and can't shove them in fast enough.  We still try to get her to eat fruits and veggies too.
From Summer 2012
I keep telling her a girl can't exist on puffs alone.  I'm pretty sure there is zero nutritional value in a puff!
From Summer 2012
I keep trying to think of other things she can safely feed herself but, all in all, I'm so happy that she's more and more interested in "table food".

Since we're on the topic of food, I thought I'd share what Ruby's been eating these days too because I'm sure you've been saying to yourself, "I wonder what Ruby eats?".  Or not.  But, two years from now I'll probably wonder what I fed Ruby, so...
Ruby is a really good eater.  She'll try most anything.  She loves all fruit, lots of vegetables, and eats most meals I make.  (Although she often asks for a snack immediately after we eat!  She's still a snackaholic!)  Breakfast usually consists of milk, fruit, and oatmeal, malt-o-meal or a waffle.  Scrambled eggs or muffins if I'm really ambitious!  Lunch is usually a smorgasbord of leftovers from the night before.  This day consisted of potatoes, avocado, peas, refried beans, and a plum.  It's not usually quite that random.

Other favorites include peanut butter and jelly, mac and cheese, hot dogs, grilled cheese and tomato soup, turkey, pasta and meatballs.  Oh yeah, and ketchup!
Ruby's favorite snacks are TJ's letter cookies, crackers, cereal, craisins, raisins, fruit strips and popcorn.

  1. Ada, I think you need a fire hose! Roo, you are such a good eater. Momma makes good stuff. Don't forget to wash your paws and make sure Ada washes her paws too!
