While we don't always have family here for Easter, it was still a strange holiday. Everyone was still mostly locked down. Our (stupid) president was still in denial about the pandemic and pretending like it would all be over, so some churches did start to open around this time, but certainly not ours. UBC did some really nice recorded and live-streamed Lent and Easter services. Our school did a drive thru Easter egg hunt. We still decorated easter eggs, made a yummy meal, got Easter baskets filled with goodies, and celebrated the resurrection of Jesus!

I think this was Good Friday
bunny cinnamon rolls
the Easter bunny might have spoiled them a little extra with big lego sets, but they were good to keep us busy while stuck at home
egg hunt in the yard
sheet pan potatoes, ham, asparagus, carrots, and bread was perfect and might become a tradition
the girls also got hair dye in their baskets
because when in quarantine (almost) anything goes
home-school dress code allows for fun hair
this was about the time we realized they weren't going back to school anyway
