The unnamed family member who says we don't need an indoor cate because we have two outdoor cats, left the patio door wide open to air out the house and...
said person didn't make a peep when one of the outdoor cats tiptoed inside.
Ruby and Ada obviously ate this up and have asked every day since if we could let her back in. Misty (Mysty? her real name is Mystery Sunshine or something) pretty much stayed on the rug right by the door loving all of the attention and pets. Such a sweet kitty!
Ada got strep (typical fall activity in our house), but was a trooper and still took family pics! In our defense, we didn't know she had strep until later.
We voted and helped pass a bond issue for our school district, meaning Ruby and Ada will only go to 3 different schools instead of 4!
Ruby got to be principal of the day, a much anticipated 4th grade honor
We harvested the last of the veggies and watermelon (lots of watermelon) around Halloween because we had two nights of freezing temps and not enough tarps to cover all of the garden beds. They were record lows for central Texas!
Ada was the November Student of the Month for her 2nd grade class
Always proud of this honor and love that our school secretly invites the parents to come to the celebration
We made caramel corn like my dad used to make, probably my grandma's recipe
When it finally cools down in the fall before it starts getting dark early, the girls love to go for walks after dinner. One night Misty followed us. It was so funny to see her trotting along behind us the whole way!
That is the exact same rug we bought! Ours is just much bigger. Weird!
