Both girls had school Christmas parties the week before break.
We did our annual pajama and cookie night driving around looking at Christmas lights.

We had tickets for a youth production of the Sound of Music the Sunday before Christmas. We bought the tickets a couple months back because one of Ruby's friends was Gretl. It occurred to me that neither of the girls had seen the movie and it was interesting trying to summarize the storyline for them before the play. They both loved it and we've already had to watch the movie so we are all caught up!
We joined the Scheetz for their gingerbread house tradition again this year. This time we hosted. They use graham crackers, pretzels, homemade icing and leftover Halloween candy!
