UBC Children's Service

There are many things we love about Waco and many things we don't love.  We have been incredibly blessed to have found a church that is on the top of the list of the best things about Waco.

From Fall 2015
The girls got to be part of the annual Children's Service for the first time this November.  Ruby chose to be one of the interpretive dancers and we were so proud of how well she learned her dance and performed.

Ada is in this awkward in-between stage right now as far as the classes go.  She's the oldest one in her Sunday school classroom by quite a bit.  The next classroom up is the room Ruby is in and several of Ada's friends so I thought it would be best for her to move up.  Surprisingly she was hesitant to go to the "big" room and told us "I have to be the biggest one in the little room."  I guess someone's gotta do it!  Haha!  She finally decided to move up when Ruby told her, Miss Jessica, her favorite person, teaches in that class!  Anyhoo, Ada was the youngest one up on stage for the Children's program and hadn't really learned all songs which may have been part of the reason she wasn't super excited during the service.  She pretty much sat up there ready to cry the whole time.  She really wanted to be up on stage with her friends but also really wanted Mommy.  I took her down a few times but she kept wanting to go back up there.

  1. You girls are precious! It takes a lot of courage to go up on stage and perform. Proud of you both!
