Easter 2017

We stayed in Waco for Easter again this year.  I think this was the first year here without any visitors so it was a bit of a quiet weekend.  The girls and I all had off both Good Friday and Easter Monday, because Texas y'all.

We colored our easter eggs on Friday and I, honestly, can't remember what else we did that weekend!

The Easter Bunny brought lots of goodies as usual and a basketball hoop and basketballs!  Ada was the first one in the living room and called out, "Look what Dad got!"  Ruby made sure she knew it was for them!  They put on their new dresses (ha) and were shooting hoops before church!

They've both had fun playing in the driveway and are planning to do a basketball camp this summer.

We went to church Sunday morning and invited some friends over for lunch for the afternoon.  Unfortunately, I discovered that our oven wasn't working on Friday night.  We couldn't find anyone to come out and look at it until at least Monday, so we brought the ham and rest of the food over to our friends' house instead.  It was nice to celebrate with others and the kids had lots of fun playing.

Of course, we took the obligatory bunny ear picture!
