Other possible titles for this post include; "The only thing my brain can handle at the end of August is counting down the days until PreSchool starts, so I will just dump the rest of the pictures below." or "Now I've uploaded so many pictures to the summer album, my parents will never be able to see them all because it takes too long to load on their computer."
You pick your favorite.
This little lady will probably welcome the stimulation that preschool brings.
Yep, I found her in Ada's crib during "nap" time. In her underwear.
This day she was just laying on Ada's mattress.
Under Ada's crib.
It's pretty amazing how much time we've been able to spend outdoors this summer without completely melting. "Thank you God for the gift of cool summer days. I'm pretty sure you knew I'd really be losing my marbles if we'd been stuck in the AC all summer. Instead we got to have backyard picnics, walks to the park, and
get eaten alive by mosquitos enjoy your beautiful creation. You are so good."
Painting with water.
Genius.
Sidewalk chalk.
The little person on the right is Ada. That line sticking out the top of her head? "That's Ada's ponytail."
Random flower that bloomed in the middle of our backyard.
(Why yes, we do have a pit of dirt and weeds in our backyard. It's the spot we had one of our trees removed awhile back and we've given up on trying to grow grass there this year.)
A morning with friends at the Botanical Gardens.
I started babysitting my friend's little girl, Abby, one morning a week.
When not in school, her big brother, Kyle, comes too. Four is actually easier than two.
They keep each other entertained!
I love to be outside.
But I wish these darn mosquitos would leave me alone!
A morning at the zoo with Miss Vera (and her mom and Baby Lily too)!
University City's (where we live) mascot the lion. There are lions all over. Most days we run or walk by these two lions sitting on benches.
Ruby's named them; Freddy and Jaq!
We saw this flying around our neighborhood the other day. Ada is the one who actually spotted it.
We followed it and watched it for a long time. Unexpected free entertainment. The best kind.
We aren't outside all of the time. We've also spent more time at the Magic House,
had a dentist appointment,
went to the mall and made some wishes in the fountain,
and did a little shopping.
There's also been ice cream treats.
Lots of ice cream treats.
They sure know how to cheese it up for the camera, huh?!
Two amazing little girls and cute to boot!
