Ruby:  Grandpa do you have a changing table?

Grandpa: No

Ruby: I'm gonna need my diaper changed.

Grandpa: We'll have to do it on the floor.

And about an hour later...

Ruby: Gaga do you have a changing table?

Gaga: No I don't.

Ruby: (in her most disappointed voice) I'm sad you don't.

When driving over a big hill and seeing the bright blue sky ahead Ruby asked, "Is that the ocean?"  I have no clue how she knows what an ocean is.


Oap-a-Meal= Oatmeal or Malt-o-meal


"Monte you have plenty of food."  When Monte was whining.


"Daddy, your jeans look cool."

We think or little Picasso looks pretty cool too, even with paint on her nose.

She loves playing Steve's Ipad.

"It's okay Ada."  Anytime Ada fusses or cries.  "She's too little."  Anytime Ada does something new.

Mom: Ruby you need to eat some more of your mac and cheese.
Ruby: Why?
Mom: So you can grow big and strong.
Ruby: (paused)  I'm big enough.

I agree!  Can't believe how big she is getting.  I love this picture of Ruby trying to keep up with the big kids!

Ruby and Ada's last day at Karen's was last week.  Ruby always had fun playing with the other kids there!

Ruby's line for anything she doesn't want/like is; "That's gross.  There's ants on it."

She actually is afraid of ants.  Strange since she loves being outside.
