I've mentioned before that Ada isn't the biggest fan of "solids". I'm starting to think she just isn't a fan of purees. Ruby and I were nibbling some mango the other day and Ada was eager to grab it out of my hand. I put a piece in the little mesh feeder thingy (I'm pretty sure that's a technical term) and she loved it.
We've also tried watermelon this way. It's so messy, but she is as proud as a peacock feeding herself!
(Funny thing is, Ruby never wanted anything to do with that thing. Even when it was full of something she loved, she wouldn't get it anywhere near her mouth!)
