A Learning Machine

In the last couple weeks, Ruby has learned to do many new things. Most amazing of all is that her new mode of transportation is walking. Only a few weeks ago she could walk about 5 feet between Sheri and I, but now she is trucking all over the place. I will try and post some videos soon of her flying around the house. Ok, maybe she's not moving that fast, but she can go.

In the meantime, here are some other things she has begun to do.

Put her cup in the "right place" on her tray.

And though she can't speak many words and certainly can't read, she communicates quite well with her bathtub letters. This message was in response to Dad telling her to stop standing in the tub. She apparently thinks that continuing to stand is a sign of perseverance. And yes, I sometimes give her "cool hairdos" during tub time.
