I have been loving our fruit trees this summer! The peaches didn't look great early on (bugs) but we ended up getting more than I expected. We pretty much had to cut them all up before eating to get rid of the yucky spots, but they were delicious. Maybe next spring we will try to do something (natural) to keep away the bugs. Let me know if you have any ideas! We finished off the last of the peaches early July with a fresh peach pie!
Around that same time I realized the figs were ripe...probably should have checked them closer earlier but we still have plenty. We can pick and pick and pick and not eat them all. They are SO SO good. I hope we will still have plenty ripe figs when we get back from 'Sconsinsota so I can make jam or something.
