When we moved Ruby started asking to do ballet again. I decided to wait to sign her up for anything until we got settled and into a routine so she started in January. Her class is ballet and tap for 5 and 6 year olds.
We "tried out" a class before the holidays and Steve and I were shocked to see her get right in there and participate with the girls who'd been in class for several months already. This is obviously something she really enjoys right now. Each week near the end of class the girls sit in a circle and take turns going to the middle to do their own dance. I think I got teary watching Ruby get up and dance in front of everyone that very first class! We are so proud of her for getting out there, having fun, and working hard to learn all of the steps!

This sweet bear is looking forward to taking dance someday too! She got a pair of hand-me-down tap shoes from a friend and loves dancing around the house!
