All You Need is Love! And Health is Good Too.

Valentine's Day came in the midst of some yucky germs for us, but it was still filled with lots of love!

Ada had another ear infection a few weeks back so we were sent to an ENT.  I was prepared to be told we needed to have a second ear tube surgery, but thankfully that wasn't the case.  The ENT pulled the left tube out because it was out of place and told us to keep on keeping' on.  Basically we'll just see how things go the next few months.

The girls and I had fun decorating for Valentine's Day shortly after the Christmas decorations came down.  Lots of window clings from Gaga!

Ruby and Ada had their Valentine's parties at school on different days so I forgot to get pictures of them in their pink and red with their Valentines.  :(  I bought a bulk bag of silly straws on Amazon and printed some cards from Pinterest that said "I think you're ex-STRAW special" and "Sip-Sip-Hooray, Happy Valentine's Day" for them to pass out to their friends.  Ruby took the job of addressing each valentine very seriously.  I was told she was a great friend helping her classmates read the names to pass out their cards too.  The straws turned out super cute and it was fun to see their bags of valentines from their friends.  Since their parties were on different days they each shared their treats with their sister after school- they are usually very sweet about sharing things like that even without being asked!

We also had two birthday parties to go to Valentine's weekend which was lots of fun and helped keep us out of the house and away from Daddy because he was sick with the flu.  Is it just Waco or has this been the absolute worst winter as far as illness goes?  Happily, everyone in this house seems to be healthy this week!
