We had a fun summer trip up to Minnesota and Wisconsin late June/early July. I really wanted to be in RF for Sam and Logan's wedding reception so, like always, we did our best to make the rounds and spend time with everyone possible! The four of us made the long drive in one day. Ada kept us entertained by shouting, "I see an M for mom!" every time we passed a McDonald's sign, so, you know, about 40 times. We spent the first part of the trip in Winona walking the dogs, swimming, playing at the pool, picking strawberries, eating at the root beer stand, and spending a day at Lark Toys.
After several days, Steve had to make the drive back to STL (for some exciting midnight scanning). The girls and I headed up to RF where we had fun getting ready for the reception, riding trikes, checking out the new baseball stadium, spending a day at Fawn-Doe-Rosa, celebrating the 4th, and partying with Auntie Sam and Uncle Logan!
We so looked forward to seeing lots of family and friends, but I felt like I barely had a chance to talk with anyone! We all had lots of fun though!
