The windows are open and the girls are finding flowers blooming all over the neighborhood. Is it safe to say that spring has arrived?
We have been outside a LOT the last few days. Soaking up the sun and trying to get the yard and house in tip top shape! We even put the girls to work filling up buckets of compost and mulch!
It was definitely NOT spring when we were up in Minnesota a couple weeks back, but the girls still got to go swimming!
They did great in the hotel (where is Ada?)
and were pretty good road-trippers considering we were in the car for 18 hours in 3 days. It was an unfortunate circumstance, but we are always grateful for chances to see family. All of the Nelson grandchildren were together for the funeral.
And the great grand-girls too!
And we got to see this cutie pie!
I imagine your days are full of activity. Even more than the usual business of the day. So nice to have such wonderful helpers! So nice to have you all here to celebrate Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma's life.
ReplyDeleteWe're in full on spring mode here too... building the chicken coop, planting trees, planting garden, working with bees. What are you doing with the compost and mulch? You guys should come out sometime soon to play!
