Happy Easter! We had a gorgeous day full of food, treats, friends, and celebration. Hope you did too!
Last weekend I took the girls to a friend's house for an Easter egg hunt. Lots of kids and lots of fun!

This week we dyed our eggs and made our own little set of "Resurrection Eggs" (thank you Pinterest). Ruby really got into the story. One night she asked me why it was called Passover, so I attempted to explain the preschool version of the story. I said something about the fact that they marked the doors to "pass over" and she quickly informed me "it was blood on the doors, mom!" Oh, my! Ada's version of Easter is a little easier for me; "I love Jesus."
I realized we didn't really get any pictures of the girls baskets, but they were spoiled! On top of packages in the mail this week, they had a basket full this morning. Lots of items that needed replenishing; markers, bubbles (tub and outdoor), toothpaste, chalk, and big girl cups. The highlights, though, were the Elmo Potty Time dvd and Elmo t-shirt for Bear and a Frozen shirt, pj's and dvd for Ruby. It was a struggle to get them into their dresses for church after receiving the shirts! And, yes, we watched Frozen as soon as we got home from church!!!
We had lunch at our friends, the Towls, with several families/friends. Brandon and Cathy go to our church and the girls love playing with their kids Hayden and Harper. The kids had lots of fun running around and we all enjoyed too much good food!
Per usual I had to bribe the girls, took a million pictures, and barely got one decent one. Here are our bunnies over the years:
