Be prepared- random, large March/April spew coming up...
For some
horrible bad strange reason we decided to eat out at Steak-n-Shake a while back. Ruby and Ada like the hats and loved the shakes.
Ruby started getting the chills while downing her shake and had us all laughing as she stood in the booth shivering, "Brrrr!"
Some of our amazing Community Group friends offered to babysit for the girls one Saturday night so that Steve and I could have a date night. We had no plans, but date nights are few, so we took them up on their offer. We ended up seeing a movie (Silver Linings Playbook- highly recommended) and going out for dessert. We went to a fun place called The Fountain and had the world's smallest cone!
I'd read that they were voted America'a Best Restroom, but totally forgot to check it out. Guess we'll have to go back! I think the best part might have been having the night off from our bedtime routine! The girls had a great time by the way.
Bear Bear followed in her sister's footsteps and got a tatoo. She'd point to it and say "tat".
Ruby's gotten really good at peddling her tricycle. Ada's gotten really good at following Ruby on her tricycle.
We finally bought her a helmet (bad parents).
Might have to get her a balance bike soon!
This happened. More than once.
You'd think Mom would stop giving her breakable bowls.
We've been enjoying some beautiful days.
Which means less of this.
Plus we can put the girls to work in the yard!
Ada loves to get the stool and look out the window.
This is what happens when someone leaves the fridge open.
This is what happens when you take your sister's toy or knock her down. (Notice bandaid on arm and guilty look on face.)
Luckily, forgiveness comes quickly.
We got to spend a fun morning at the zoo with some friends this week.
Ruby told me she was going to be "the engineer and take us on a train ride" when she gets big.
Ada's been asking to go "potty".
Ruby currently has hives on her face, neck, and arms.
Not sure what it's from. Maybe the almond milk I was using up on the girls' cereal?
And both girls are as silly as ever.
Love the pics. Cutest 'lil bugs in the whole wide world!
