Well, I better get this post about the snow up quick before it's 60. That's right, it's supposed to be in the 60's this weekend. I don't think I've ever looked forward to spring more than this year!
It's been a long, cold, (fairly) snowy winter for us. Ruby LOVES the snow so we've tried to bundle up and get out when possible. Which isn't always easy considering someone's often sick.
We finally bought a sled and literally had to use it as soon as we got back from Target, before we even went inside. I pulled the girls around and around the backyard. Good thing too, because the snow was melted and gone later that afternoon. It doesn't often last longer than a day or two.
We did get enough for Ruby to do some real sledding for the first time. Ada and I stayed home while Steve took Ruby to the park where there are a few hills. From what I hear, she had a good time.
We also built a couple snowmen.
Ruby insisted on a real carrot nose.
Ada, on the other hand, is not a big fan of the snow gear or cold. She'd rather enjoy the beauty of a snowfall from inside.
In order to satisfy both girls we sometimes bring the snow indoors.
And most of the time we just try to have fun inside.
Ada usually entertains herself quite well when housebound. I guess she decided that our shoes looked better carefully arranged in the kitchen.
And the pans should go in the living room.
Of course.
Ugh, i wish our snow would melt that quickly. I hear ya about being excited for spring this year!
ReplyDeleteJust love to hear and see all the goings on in Missouri! Cute little buggers!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the smiles and chuckles! I love how Ada keeps herself occupied. I think she has an artistic eye too. Love you all.
