Our favorite toys are definitely our books. We have baskets, bins, stacks, and piles of them. Ruby has always been fond of reading and is starting to sit and look at books by herself or telling the stories to Ada when she'll sit still long enough to listen! Either Ada is developing this same love of books or she really wants to be like her big sis.
We take a trip to the library at least once a week. The girls like to play with friends, talk to the librarians, read in the tub, do puzzles, look at the fish, and pick out lots of books to take home!
Read Across America Day is in early March. They were having an event at one of the local malls that we thought we'd check out one (cold) Saturday. The girls spent a lot of time playing in the
germ play area, but were a few of the only kids that stopped to actually listen to the storyteller.
Ruby even became the official page turner!
And how funny is it that the ride they chose is called "Story Teller" and told nursery rhymes while they rode?!
Grampa is proud of his grandgirls!
