Ruby woke up Tuesday morning, pitter-pattered across the floor, climbed in bed next to me, and sighed "SCHOOL!". She was so excited to go to her "class" and see "her kids". Miss Pam and Miss Nancy visited us at home last week, Mommy and Ruby got to go to school together Tuesday, and Thursday was the first "official" day at Samuel Church Preschool. Ruby "lives" in the yellow room with seven other 2 year old girls. She goes twice a week for 3 hours in the morning which I'm hoping will be a wonderful opportunity for her to get out of the house, interact with kids her age, and learn to LOVE school. Steve told her if she's lucky she'll get to go to school for the next 26 years!

She did great and really seems to like everything so far! No tears- Ruby or Mommy!
Ruby you are such a sweetheart! I love your smile and your big girl attitude heading off to your school. Mom and Dad should be very proud and I am sure they are. Laughed myself silly at Steve's comment about years of future schooling. Good job Mom getting Roo ready.. set.. school!
