Momma's officially been back to work for 5 days now. It's hard to leave these sweet girls and I'm already counting down the days until summer vacation. (80 if you're wondering!)
Thankfully, they've both been doing well with the nanny and at the new babysitter's. Sure makes you cherish the evenings and weekend time together!
We've all been battling colds for the last few weeks now and Ruby is on her 3rd round of antibiotics for an ear infection. She had never had an antibiotic until a month ago and now she's had three- ugh! We are SO ready to be healthy again...and hoping that Ada will sleep better once she stops coughing and can breath again!
Ada continues to be the happiest, most content babe (even when sick)! She loves playing with toys now, found her fingers, always coos and smiles, and tries so hard to roll over!
We had our first bit of snow the last day of my maternity leave. Ruby was thrilled! She kept saying "We sure got a lot of snow!" (Notice it was only about an inch- such a STL girl!) Unfortunately it was too cold for me to take Ada out so she could play in it. So we brought a tub of snow inside to play with and Ruby loved it! We did get out for a bit over the weekend and visited the University City Ice Carnival too. Ruby is not a fan of mittens and kept taking them off. I was afraid her little fingers were going to get frost bite.
When we got home, Ruby tried her first s'more...I think she enjoyed it!
Thank you for the pics. RuRu looks like she has a little goose-egg on her forehead. Love the ice slide. Ada is sooo cute.
