Ruby and Daddy will be rooting for the Cardinals as they continue their magic run through the playoffs. They'll be facing off next against the Milwaukee Brewers, who I know many of you call your team. Ruby may pull for The Packers sometimes and The Badgers on occasion, but I want to make it clear that she is a Redbird fan through and through.
Additionally, any attempt to send Brewers attire will result in the prompt delivery of those materials to the local Goodwill. Actually, they probably wouldn't take them there given the Brewers-Cardinals history. Perhaps I would have to sell them on Ebay. Good luck to the Brew-Crew...you're going to need it.
I'm torn on this one. I've loved the Cardinals since 1964. I've been a Brew Crew fan since 1982. I guess the deciding factor for me is Selig trying to get rid of the Twins during the contraction years. Hard to forgive that. So with all due respect to some of the most wonderful people that I have met from the fine state of Wisconsin I will align myself with Ruby and Steven Michael in rooting for St. Louis to politely eke out a NL Championship.

ReplyDeleteJust to clarify; Ruby's true alligence is with the Twins. Since she was born in STL I guess, if the Twins are out, she'll cheer for the Cards. However, her mom will NOT be cheering for the Red Birds!
