RSV...P

Ruby is RSVP-ing to her babysitter that she won't be there Monday as planned! After her coughing and sneezing got progressively worse this week we ended up at the clinic Saturday morning. I was expecting to be told "she just has a cold" while the doctor and nurse rolled their eyes at these first time parents, but after listening to Ruby hack up her lung, they diagnosed her with RSV. Luckily, she has no fever and her lungs sounded clear. Unfortunately, that means there's not much we can do but just wait it out. She was pretty miserable yesterday, but, we're happy to report, she slept well last night and seems to be doing much better today. Daddy's going to stay home with Ruby tomorrow (Mommy can't call in sick her first day back!) and hopefully she'll be feeling even better by then.

Mommy says you get to stay in your PJ's all day when you're sick!

  1. Good luck on your first day back Sheri. I'm sure everyone is going to be so excited to see you. I'm so happy that Ruby is doing better. She looks so cute in her little bathrobe and jammies. Daddy and Ruby will have a fun day tomorrow. I'll bet there will be lots of jibber -jabber when you get home!
