Ruby's requested birthday breakfast was a "giant bowl of fruit"! She opened most of her presents before school and was spoiled with lots of books, clothes, bath bombs, and a cool light up marquee. I brought her Chic-Fil-A for lunch (because Texas) and we went to Olive Garden for dinner. She chose Nothing Bundt Cakes for dessert, and I am not usually a store-bought cake person, but they are SO good!
Stats: Ruby grew 3 inches and gained 6 pounds (not sure that's accurate). She is 4'3" and 56 lbs. She thinks she's short, doctor said 30%. Hasn't lost any teeth this past year, but may be getting braces soon.
Play: When I told Ruby she should be a runner and that she has a runner's body, she informed us that she has a reader's body. It's her favorite! She is also still very creative and artistic and is participating in an after school writing program.
School: Ruby is in 3rd grade at Woodway Elementary in Mrs Abarca's class again. She goes to GT on Tuesdays with Mrs Owens. Ruby likes school, does well in every subject, and has lots of friends. Some of her BFF's are Emory, Olivia, Laurel, Zane, Joy, Ellie, Wyatt, Levi.
Personality: Smart, sensitive, creative and introverted. She loves to be in control! She is starting to become more interested in clothes and fashion and is emotionally maturing.
