Creative Kids

Our creative little cuties did an art camp for a week this summer in July.  It was great!  They did a ton of cool artwork around the theme of nature.

After we got back from Minnesconsin we signed up for another week of art camp!  This time the theme was food.

Gaga gave us a book of origami and a ton of origami paper.  Instead of trying to make a bunch of different animals from the book, they decided to perfect their hamster and fox making skills.

We are now the proud owner of 27 origami hamsters and 39 origami fox!

When the girls realized that our anniversary was in August they decided they wanted to be in charge of making dinner one night.  They know how to scramble eggs and make a sandwich, but that's pretty much their entire repertoire, so I wasn't sure how this was going to work out.  They ended up making a rainbow dinner!

Healthy, colorful, and not too heavy!
