Dance Recital 2018

Both girls continued taking dance last year.  Ruby opted for ballet and jazz this year and Ada is still taking ballet and tap.  They both did so great at their recitals this June!

So excited!

Backstage

How's my make-up mom?

Waiting for our turn to dance!

Ada's recital was at 9:00 Saturday morning, which made for an early morning getting hair and make-up ready!  She did so great and could even see us in the audience so we got some big smiles!  Thankfully her show was short and sweet (1 hour) because it was just the preschool and kindergarten classes.
Her tap song was "Set it All Free" from SING.

It was so cute!  They started with sunglasses on and even did a little air guitar.  Ada *might* play lefty air guitar!

So pretty (but a bit itchy)!

Ada's ballet class danced to "In My Life"

We all headed back to the performing arts center for Ruby's 2:00 show (and again on Sunday).  It was a muuuuuuuuch longer show (dare I say 3 hours?!) as it was most of the elementary age classes.  Our dance studio, Joys, is very popular with tons of classes, but man they are a machine- so organized, so professional.  They do 6 separate shows recital weekend!

Ruby took jazz for the first time this year and loved it!

They danced to "Ain't No Mountain High Enough"

The sparkly costume was her fav!

Her ballet costume was beautiful too!  All of their costumes were cute this year!

They danced to "True Colors" for ballet

Loved the choreography!

This is totally picture and video overload, but I love them!

So proud!

Thankful Gaga and Grandpa were here to watch too!

Here are the videos from dress rehearsal.  Not the best quality, but you get the idea!
