Spring Break 2018

We stayed put in Texas for Spring Break this year and it was nice and relaxing.  We did take a short overnight trip to Austin so we could pick up Steve's new car, let the girls swim in the hotel pool, and eat good food!  We did a little putt-putt while we were there too.  It was the first time Ruby and Ada golfed and Steve was dying.

This will be easy.

Who's turn is it?  Turn?  You have to take turns?

I'm good at this.

Mom, take my picture.

We don't look tired at all, do we?  Five hours of sleep (in hotel room) is fiiiiiine.

We enjoyed some movies.
Greatest Showman=greatest soundtrack

Peter Rabbit was actually pretty cute.  I'm in love with the gardens and Bea's house!

Ruby worked on her science fair project over break too.  She tested bowls for ice cream to see which one kept the ice cream cold the longest; paper, glass, or plastic.

Also, she tested the ice cream!

STEAM night

She won first place for her whole school! I'd say that's a success!

STEAM= science, technology, engineering, art, math

Our school put on a great STEAM night!

Our next door neighbors are moving (sad face) so they gave us a huge bag of old dance and cheerleading customs (circa 2000).   We wear them in public.

This also happened:
