Obviously, Ada was ecstatic to turn 5. She asked a million times "Am I 5 yet?" "Really? Really?" I know baby, I don't believe it either.
We had Ada's party the weekend before her actual birthday which probably threw her off a bit. She requested a "Rainbow Party" and I wasn't real sure about activities so we decided to rent a bounce house and it fit the theme (and yard) perfectly!
We also had a painting area and rainbow beads for bracelets and necklaces. I think everyone had lots of fun, especially our Bear.

Now that's the mark of a successful party, right?!
We had rainbow fish snacks and rainbow fruit along with a special cake. I have to admit I was most excited about the cake. I held my breath when we cut into it, but it turned out so cute.
(Love my mom's face!)
On her actual birthday, we had donuts again for breakfast and opened breakfast before school/work. Ada got a doll and doll clothes from Mom and Dad, as well as, lots of games, crafts and other fun toys! I only work until 10:30 on Tuesdays, so I got to spend most of the day with Ada. We went to Target to spend her gift cards (Shopkins) and the mall for lunch because she wanted to ride on the rides and eat to Chic-fil-a. Tuesday was soccer night so we had a quick dinner at McAlisters before heading to the field.

Eat: She tells me she's always hungry and would be snacking constantly if we let her. Mac-n-cheese is still the all time favorite, along with anything sweet.
Handedness: Girlfriend is now using her right hand to write with. It's the strangest thing. She is still very much left-footed though, which we discovered at soccer!
Sleep: We just recently moved Ada into a BIG bed. We converted her toddler bed into a full size bed and it seems huge. I'll be honest with you, there were tears as we took apart that little bed. That bed was the crib that Ruby slept in as a newborn, we converted it to a toddler bed which she slept in for a couple years, and then Ada moved into it when she was 2.5. Oh my heart!
Play: Ada is such an extrovert and her love language is definitely touch. She prefers to play with someone; mommy and baby with her sister, games or books with mommy or daddy. She also loves music and dolls.
School: Ada is in PreK at Columbus Avenue where she's been the past two years. She goes three days a week and the third day is always field trip day. She loves her teachers, her classmates, having homework, class jobs, and riding in the van for field trips. She informed me last week that Emma is her BFF. Sweet Emma moved to Waco around the same time we did and the girls have been in class together three years now.
Personality: Sweet, silly, funny, sensitive, smart, a cuddle-bug and a snuggler!

What a sweetheart! High 5, Bear, Bear!
