We often find ourselves whining and wishing our house (in STL) would sell and that we could buy our own house here. We are in a bit of a predicament with our lease ending early spring and having to be in a (somewhat) permanent place for Ruby to start Kindergarten in the fall. It is overwhelming and stressful and we would LOVE to avoid having to move into another rental. We are trying to be grateful for what we do have- a nice rental house here, a nice neighborhood, and the ability to pay our bills (our mortgage and rent!). We really would appreciate prayers for an offer on our house though!
Here is a peek at our current home!
Walking in the front door. Our living room is nice and open to the dining and kitchen. And we love the glass patio doors to the backyard!
The door to the left of the fireplace goes to the laundry room and out to the garage.
Ignore the mess and mismatched, random furniture! We sold a bunch of stuff before we moved and haven't replaced it.
Looking down the hallway to the (3!!) bedrooms and (2!) bathrooms.
Main bath. Much bigger than our old house and so much easier to give baths. Those walls! It's not wallpaper, it's fabric with some sort of batting behind it!
Ada's room. I didn't get a good full room picture. This is looking straight in from the door. She has two big closets to the left and her bed is to the right.
Please admire that dresser. I can't even tell the story behind it, but let's just say way too much money, effort, and time went in to it!
We kept most of our old decor so it would feel like home to her right away. She was excited we added the "A" and froggy pictures on her wall!
Ruby's Room.
Pretty similar to our old house too! We converted the doll house (that was never played with) to hold her books and art supplies (which get played with daily!)
Still loving pandas!
Any suggestions on what to do with the pile-o-stuffed-animals next to the bed there? Ada has multiple baskets full too. I know we need to get ride of a ton, but they don't want to part with any of them...
Master bedroom- check it out, no crib, or pack-n-play! It's all ours!
Two big closets and a master bath!
Looks great! Nice job decorating and making it so cozy!! Lil has a net next to her bed for all her animals. There are days they are all in a pile on the floor, but for the most part she keeps them contained and enjoys building them into a tower. :)
ReplyDeletePrayers your way! You have made your house in Texas into a real home. Everything looks so nice!
