I was eagerly looking forward to a getaway weekend in Omaha at the beginning of March. (I'm not gonna lie, it would have been even greater had the destination been somewhere warm. And I won't mention the fact that my mom had just returned from Hawaii!!!) My mom and I took quick flights to Omaha to spend some time with Sam and do a little wedding dress shopping. We stayed in a fun hotel downtown in the Old Market area, did lots of shopping, lots of yummy eating, and a little wine! No white dress purchased, but lots of fun was had!
Steve had a busy weekend at home with the girls and they all survived. Guess that means I should do it more often!
