We "celebrated" Dental Health month with Ada's first dentist appointment and a check up for Ruby -hehe. I wasn't sure how it would go (Ruby was a year older when she first visited the dentist), but Ada did a really good job.
With balloons, movies on the ceiling, fish tanks, toys, stickers, and popsicles it's a pretty exciting place to go! Both girls did great during the cleaning and x-rays.
I am amazed they even attempt x-rays with a 2 year old! The only suggestion Dr. Lindsay had was to work on Ada's bubby addiction. We leave them in her crib during the day and let her have them during naps and nighttime right now. Once in awhile she'll sneak a bubby out during the day. When told to put it away, she usually hands it to me and says "Mommy hide it"! The other morning I found her here, getting a fix!
She loves those things but we aren't too worried. As our pediatrician says, if that's her worst addiction in life she'll be fine!
(She just woke up, hence the stink eye! Ruby drew, colored, cut, and decorated this crown for Ada. I'm pretty sure it's the cutest crown ever made!)
Love those girls! So cute together! Good job at the Dentist you two!
