Okay, so it's not officially winter for a couple more weeks, but the calendar says December, the Christmas decorations are up, and the weathermen are predicting snow this week, so close enough. We're wrappin' it up.
The colors were beautiful as always! I feel so blessed to live in such a beautiful place. Our neighborhood is on the national historic register and many of the houses were built around the time of the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis. Which means, many of the trees must be 100+ years old too. Lots of big old trees line the streets and they are gorgeous in the fall.
We've had typical St. Louis weather. Some 60+ degree days and some 30 degree days. Sometimes all in the same week!
Ruby switched classrooms at school this fall, many of her friends stayed in her old room, and her best buddy changed schools, but she has made a sweet little friend Valerie.
Her mom asked who she wanted to invite to her birthday party and she insisted on "just Ruby"! So Ruby and Ada got to go to Build-a-Bear with Valerie, her sister, and cousins to celebrate. Ada went right for the "kiggy" with Hello Kitty jammies and you'll never guess which animal Ruby picked out.
Gaga and Grandpa (with the kitties) got to visit this fall (and help Momma out when Dad was at a conference)! Ruby had big plans for their visit; zoo, park, Magic House, library...
Ada is still asking for "Gaga" and "Grandpa" when she's upset with us. Like when she has to get her face washed or diaper changed- you know when we're being mean.
We've visited the Magic House a few more times before our membership expires.
Ada's cheese faces kills me. I could just eat her up.
And Momma's been sewing like crazy. Which may be the reason the blog has been a bit neglected. Most of my Christmas dresses were sold out a week before Thanksgiving- exciting and busy! We're talking multiple orders of most of these dresses, and a few other creations (dolls, doll clothes, super hero capes) on the side. Plus St. Nick *might* be bringing handmade PJ's and slippers.
I'm going to try to get our Thanksgiving post up this soon too...or sometime before Christmas.
Those two little cuties are so precious! The leaves look beautiful and I can just hear Ada and Ruby playing and giggling up a storm.
