When weighing the decision to stay home this year, some of the things I worried about were being lonely, not getting out enough, the girls getting bored at home, and not having adult interaction. Over the last couple months I've been reminded of God's provision for us. The casual Mom's Group at our church has grown dramatically, become more purposeful, and meets regularly now. God knew this is precisely what Ruby, Ada, and I needed. We meet each Friday alternating playdates and Mommy time (with childcare, woohoo!). I am so thankful for this amazing women that I am able to call friends! Ruby and Ada are pretty lucky to hang out with these buddies too.
Ada loves babies.

I'm not so sure about these things Mom!
We go for lots of walks to the park, library, post office, and explore our neighborhood!
There's all sorts of crazy happening at home too.
Anytime is tutu time.
Big Sis always lets me know when Ada wants to wear a tutu or some jewels too.
Trying on Daddy's undies!
It's amazing how different two sisters so close in age can be. This one will entertain herself and play happily all day long.
And she's always good for a snuggle!
Ruby prefers doing things with Momma,
and having someone play with her.
God has been good to us and I love staying home with my girlies!
You've made an amazing transition to stay-at-home Mom, Sher! I know it isn't easy. So glad you and Steve have made this work. God Bless.
ReplyDeleteYou do an amazing job with those two little goomers. So glad to see you all so happy!
