Ruby: Giddy-up, giddy-up

Ada: Whaaaaaa

Mom: Ruby get off her.  You need to be gentle, Ada's little.

Ruby:  When she gets bigger I can ride her.

Mom:  No, we don't ride our sisters.

Ruby: Did you ride Sam?

Mom: No!
Ruby: Yeah, but I want to ride Ada.

Later the same day as I was telling the story to my dad, Ruby says, "I thought she was a horsey!"

Ruby was enthralled with the scale at Grandma's house and wanted to "take her temperature" every time she was in the bathroom.

Overheard last week:  "You're being naughty.  You're a Philistine." (Directed towards Mom.  No clue how she came up with that by the way.)  "You're the best Daddy in the whole world" and "Daddy, you know everything".  She's such a daddy's girl!

Ada's signing and interacting so much with us.  "Hi" "Bye" "So Big" "All Done" "More" and maybe even a "Yay"/clap, plus some cute dance moves mixed in!  All of her "signs" look eerily similar!

We think Ada's going to have a great sense of humor.  She giggles about the funniest things and likes to get a laugh out of the rest of us.  Any time we're on the bed she'll flop down on her face, look over at us and giggle!

As you can tell, Ada makes the best funny faces!  She's got this new, "look-at-me-aren't-I-cute-and-funny" smile where she squints her eyes.  I'll have to try to get a picture of it.
