Ruby sometimes delays the endings of words. For example, "church" is "chur...ch". When she says "milk" it sounds like "mil...(wait for it)...k!

Did you notice how each of Ruby's cups has a special spot on her tray? She is very particular about where things go/belong. I found her standing in front of my hamper the other day. There were a couple things hanging over the side that she promptly moved so that they were neatly inside the hamper. I wonder where she gets that from...coughStevecough?
Every night when we undress her for bath or pj's she goes streaking through the house in just her diaper (or less). It must feel freeing to be naked!
When it is clear that our pokey little eater has finished eating her meal I always ask "Are you done? Do you want to get down?" To which she often replies "No". When I ask "What do you want?" Ruby will answer "Peaches!" (even when she didn't have peaches for the meal). I'll tell her we don't have any, she'll get a big grin on her face and shout "Blueberries!" (we haven't had blueberries either). This has become a frequent dialogue between us. Good try little munchkin! If she had her little way she'd each peaches everyday.

Ruby Jean you are so darn cute!
ReplyDeleteIf Grandma was faced with that cutie pie, we'd have peaches and blueberries on hand everyday! Grandma's a pushover, Ruby.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely ADORABLE!
