Friends and Suitors

What a fun summer it's been spending time with lots of friends!

We were SO excited to see Alison and Ethan (and Muff!) back here in St. Louis a couple weeks ago (wish Chris could have joined them)! We met them for dinner at Mi Ranchito, (where else?) and got great big hugs from E-man! He is getting so big and SO smart. He talked nonstop all through dinner, telling Ruby all about "heavy equipments". She was mesmerized! Ethan even brought a very cool book all about Seattle, so Ruby can start planning her trip to the Northwest! We sure miss this smile!

Ruby and Baby Vera took a trip to the art museum last week. (Yes, they're very sophisticated and cultured like that!) Afterward, we headed outside to enjoy a snack and play for a bit on the top of art hill with the beautiful view of fountains below! A very fun afternoon that we must do again. Ruby had to keep her eye on Vera the whole time!

(This is the best picture I could get of the two wiggle worms, who kept trying to steal toys from each other!) Malachi is exactly two months younger than Ruby and we wish he lived closer- we'd have FUN playdates (and good runs)! We were so lucky to spend some time with Malachi and his mommy, Audrey.
