Ruby Kisses from Steven Nelson on Vimeo.
Ten Things to Remember About Ruby at Ten Months:10. Wet Ruby kisses are the best, sometimes a bit aggressive, but always sweet!
9. Watching Ruby crawl over to Monte's toy, stop a couple feet from it, look at it, and start shaking her head "no"! We don't have to say anything, she knows she's not supposed to touch it!
8. Instead of using one of her soft, cute little blankies as a lovey, she has become attached to a burp cloth. It's so sweet to watch her rub it on her nose or cheek though!
7. Ruby will start to dance to any music or beat she hears, even the washing machine!
6. There are two bouncy rides at the park. Ruby will point to one, bounce for 10 seconds on it, then point to the other one, bounce for 10 seconds on it, repeat, repeat, repeat!
5. She loves to drink out of Mommy or Daddy's "big" glass and we love to hear her little tooth clink on the glass as she dribbles water down her chin! (Yes, she finally got her first tooth about a week ago - bottom left.)
4. Watching Ruby squeal when she sees Monte and then crawling towards him as fast as she can. Monte watches her until she gets within reach and then runs away. However, he almost always comes back into the room a few minutes later...we think he likes the attention!
3. Ruby likes to blow raspberries...especially with a mouth full of food or water!
2. Opening up Ruby's door when she wakes up in the morning to see her standing up in her crib holding her lovey tight and smiling so big!
1. It's been absolutely amazing to watch Ruby learn something new every single day whether it be figuring out a new toy or making a new sound. She's our little mimic!

ReplyDeleteOh, how sweet! Yes, she changes so fast and there are so many things you won't want to forget. I love the new kitchen flooring - softer on Ruby's little head if she falls....
