2 Years and 2 Months

Ada had her 2 month appointment with Dr. Plax Friday morning. She's gained 4lbs in 2 months, oh my! Ada did a great job, she's happy and healthy, but was not a fan of the shots! We think she's a beautiful baby!

Eats: Nurses every 3 hours during the day and 2 (ish) times at night. Takes a bottle a few times a week.
Sleeps: Just started sleeping a 5 hour stretch at night, rocked or nursed to sleep, usually swaddled. Good napper during the day, often in the swing! Sometimes falls asleep on her own (just laying on a blanket).
Clothes: 3-6 month size
Diapers: Still too many to keep track of! Mostly uses disposables.
Milestones: Started to smile at us- so cute! Started to coo to us! Loves to watch Ruby play! Looks intently at faces and turns toward sounds. Lifts her head up while on tummy and holds head up while being held. Has rolled over a couple times accidentally. Loves her swing and sleeps soundly in it! Is content for a short time in the bouncy seat, laying on the blanket. Still falls asleep in her car seat and stroller.
Personality: Still a calm, sweet little babe! Quietly takes it all in.
Measurements: 12lbs 7oz (75%), 24in (98%)

Some Ruby-isms:

When coloring in her animal book, she turned to the picture of the beaver and said, "That's Justin Beaver!"

When Steve told her to sit up like a normal person, she says, "I'm not a person!"

Anytime we turn music on she has to put on her "tutu" and twirl (as well as, shake her booty)!

She LOVES puzzles and is amazingly proficient at putting them together!

When Steve dances, wrestles or tickles Ruby until she giggles she says, "You make me laugh Daddy!" She is definitely a Daddy's Girl!

After Gaga made her a Nutella sandwich Ruby sheepishly looks up at her and says, "We usually lick the knife."
