Ugh! Yup, that pretty much describes how I've been feeling this first trimester (+) and probably how Steve's been feeling too trying to take on everything I've given up for the couch! Now that the second trimester is underway and I'm starting to feel better it is due time for a blog post. So much to catch up on so this one's going to be a hodgepodge...
~Early March Mom headed to San Antonio for a wedding. This was the first night(s) away from Ruby. The wedding was a true Texas celebration and SO much fun!
~Ruby barely noticed I was gone due to all of the love and attention she was getting back home with Gaga Nancy, Grandpa Bill, and Auntie Jen. Thanks for spending time with us and helping Daddy out while Mom was gone!
~Auntie Sam flew to STL a week later to spend some time with us over spring break. Ruby was spoiled again as Sam entertained her so I could rest. We love having you visit Sam!
~This spring has been a time for visitors. In April we got to spend time with our friends Tim, Kristen, and baby Amelija. We are SO excited that they are going to be our "neighbors"! Ruby loved spending time with "Uncle Tim" while he stayed with us before they were able to close on their new house. Welcome to STL Fredricks!
~Gaga Donna and Grampfa Steve came to visit last weekend and celebrate Easter with us. Grampfa was the recipient of the longest hugs I've ever seen! They helped us dye eggs and made us a wonderful Easter meal! Thanks for spoiling us!
~We had a very nice Easter and know that (in spite of not feeling well) we are SO blessed! God is Good!
~And just for fun: What a difference a year makes!
Can't believe next year we'll have two little bunnies!
