Halloween 2009 (5 weeks old)
We started to get into the Halloween spirit last weekend when we carved our pumpkin. Ruby was not too keen on touching the pumpkin guts!
But she did have fun putting the top on and taking it off again and again. And again. And again.
Ruby was not sure what to think of her custume at first...
but she warmed up to it once she saw herself in the mirror!
On Saturday afternoon we dressed Ruby in her pink kitty costume and headed for the St. Louis Zoo. They put on a Boo at the Zoo event that we decided to check out. It was, well, a zoo! There were lines and lines of costumed kiddies waiting for a few pieces of candy...crazy! Luckily, we weren't there for the treats and Ruby enjoyed seeing the kids, the Halloween decorations, and lots of animals! It was a gorgous fall day!
Sunday evening Ruby dressed up again and Skype-trick-or-treated both sets of grandparents! She insisted on going across the street to the neighbors too. Seriously, for some reason she is obsessed with their house and always wants to walk over and climb up their steps (good thing they think she's cute!).
Ruby had fun "handing out" candy (mostly to mom and dad)!
