...healthy baby! We had the "BIG" ultra-sound this afternoon and we were both mesmerized! No, we didn't find out what we are having, we are waiting for the big surprise in the delivery room. However, it was still amazing to see the tiny hands waving, feet wiggling, and little mouth yawning (that was the coolest part). Seriously though, what does the baby have to be tired about?! The ultra-sound tech and doctor said that everything looks great and I think I even heard her say, "That was the cutest baby we've seen today." (I'm sure they don't say that to everyone.) The baby weighs 10 oz and is 10 in long. We could have kept watching that screen all day. Check out more of the pictures here. Who do you think the baby looks like?
Amazing! To me the baby looks like: they are looking forward to September 25th, so they can stretch out! The hairdo does have similarities to Daddy.
ReplyDeleteSteve and Sheri - I am so glad that you are waiting to find out what sex the baby is until delivery - that is WHAT it is all about.

You definitely do have a cute baby :) It's cool that you got 3D pics too!
ReplyDeleteoh man - that's amazing!!! hooray!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell I'm sorry but when I saw the nose, that is Steve's nose. It is so exciting to see the pictures, I get goose bumps, but that's probably cuz it is so very, very special. I'm excited. I'm glad everything is going well and it just goes unsaid that you would have the cutest baby, look at the momma! Your basement is so awesome too. All that extra room. Life is exciting at the Nelson household in St. Louis. I bet Monte has some of his own thoughts on all this too.
ReplyDeleteLove you both very much
Mom
I love the pictures of your baby! I like that you are waiting for find out the sex too...I would think it makes the delivery even more of a surprise. I'm very impressed by your basement. Of course Aunt Nancy thinks the baby has Steve's nose. I'm not surprised by that at all ;)
ReplyDeleteThe ultrasound is awesome! We are thrilled beyond words about being great-grandparents. Can't wait until we can hold the new life in the family. I'm sure it's going to be awhile before we get to do that unless we can manage a trip to St. Louis.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are awesome! It definitely makes it more real seeing him/her. Starting to think it's a boy - agreeing with Sheri's class... I'm so glad things are going well and that Sheri is feeling better and I bet Steve is too!
ReplyDeleteLove you guys!
It's amazing guys! I'm so excited! what a cutie!
