5 year-old: "Mrs. Nelson, how big is your baby?"
Me: "It's getting bigger" as I point to my belly.
5 year-old: "Wow, you better go to the doctor!"
The day after I told my class that I was going to have a baby I got an email from a parent sharing this story: My son came home and told me "Mrs. Nelson got a baby yesterday and it will fall out of her tummy in the fall."
And, as I was eating a birthday treat from one of my students I hear, "Mrs. Nelson's baby is getting lots of sweets today."
As we say at our school "You just can't make it up" Those little darlings are so cute, aren't they?
